vCenter server software installation

I am working on an install of Essentials plus on one of our IBM blades.  I have created a virtual server for the install on vCenter server.  Should the  vCenter  server  software be installed on the local host hard drive or would it be better to attach a virtual volume, from the SAN storage and install the server software there?

Thanks,

I would use SAN storage - it will give you the flexibility for vmotion and VMware HA -

Use a shared disk to benefit of vMotion and HA.
