New, clean, install of vcenter server 5.5 on a new win 2008 R2 sp1 guest (on a new Dell host server), after Simple install successfully completes I can log into the web client but don't see SSO options under Administration tab. I also can't see any Inventory items or add a host or datacenter.
Has anyone else run into these issues, any help would be greatly appreciated?
Which account did you use to logon? Only the administrator@vsphere.local account will be able to configure SSO after initial installation.

There is only one user setup; administrator@vsphere.local
New host, new guest, clean install. From what I've read there be an option under Administration to make changes to SSO. The Inventory (and SSO) installation registered properly? no errors, but the new ESXi 5.5 host doesn't show up in inventory either?

I'm an idiot!, I assumed that just because I was logged in as administrator I was logged in as administrator@vsphere.local, I WAS WRONG!. THANK YOU!
I knew it had to be something simple, the conventions of this new interface will take a while to get comfortable with, coming from a vSphere 5.0/ windows background.
