vCenter on Windows 2008 Server Core?

I searched all over the Internet (in particular the VMware site) but could not find a Yes/No answer to this question:

Is vCenter installation on a Windows 2008 Server Core possible?

And if not, why wouldn't it work?

Thanks for your input - I have faith that with the wealth of experience availble on this board I'll finally have my answer ...

Thanks, Troy. Your search tool is obviously better :). Will vSphere make it possible - it seem it'd be such a good match?

The better match is vCenter Server under Linux.
