vCenter installation error

Hi,

I am trying to install vCenter server in Virtual Machine,but i am getting an error "The installation package is not supported by this processor type. please contact..." The Version of vCenter is 4.1

CPU configuration:

Intel(R) Xeon (R) CPU X3330 @2.66Ghz 1GB RAM

Is this type of processor is unsupportable by it?

You need a 64Bit OS windows 2008 for it. Have a look at this KB

And check the minimum requirements for vCenter 4.1 aswell. Recommendations is 3 GB memory and 2 vCPU

Hi,

You need a 64-bits OS like Windows 2003, 2008 or 2008 R2.

You also need to check out the minimum hardware requirements to vCenter Server.
