vCenter for Linux?

Is there a vCenter for Linux download available from VMware?  I assume VMware does not offer this as I so not see it as a download option.  However, I have read in various locations that it was to be released (perhaps 3rd party?).

There is no current version of vCenter for Linux.  There was a tech preview like two years back, but nothing has happened publically since.

Anyone who could comment about its existence would be bound by an NDA.

Yeah I don't think making a Linux version of vCenter is a priority for VMWare.

If they were moving towards creating a Linux version I don't think they would have made ADLDS a core component is 4.0.  With Virtual Centre 2.5 it would have been a lot easier.

Hopefully it may happen with a later release through.  It would be great to deploy vCenter as a vApp.
