vCenter crashed and was restored

This morning, an update to SQL Server corrupted the database. in the end, the PC was reloaded at the call of one of the other admins. We have gone back and recreated our clusters and hosts and all VMs reappeared except for one. This VM is still running and I can remote into it but is not showing in vCenter at all. I can look under it's host and it does not show it as a VM. Any ideas on how to get this VM to reappear? Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

In vCenter, browse to it's datastore and right-click the VMX file and choose "Add to Inventory".

Good Luck!

That sounded too good to be true. "Add to Inventory" is greyed out

unfortunatly. Under my domain admin account and the main admin account. I

have heard that moving all the other machines off and rebooting the datastore

can sometimes get it back in just hate to do that as the VM is running and I

don't want to bring it down unless I have too. Thanks for the quick response

though. Any other ideas?
