vCenter and SQL installation advise

Hi all hope u guys can help me on this 4 question. and why if it is a Yes what performance or impact will i have.

1. vcenter is on a vm can the sql be installed on the same VM as vcenter. ?

2. vcenter is on a VM can the SQL be installed on another VM in the same physical host.

3. vcenter is on a VM can SQL be installed on another VM in another physical host

4. vcenter and SQL be installed directly on the same physical server host not as VM.
