Hi,
Could anyone be please kind enough to tell me why the Alarms are not getting clear automatically, or what is the way around. I have already tried
1. service mgmt- vmware restart
2. service vmware- vpxa restart
* Alarm Name * | * Trigger Type * | * Condition * | * Tolerance * | * Frequency * |
Production VM Heartbeat | VM Heartbeat | No Heartbeat | 0 | 3,600 secs (1 hour) |
Production VM State | VM State | Not Equal To "Powered On" | 0 | 86,400 secs (1 day) |
Did you go to the source of the Alarm in vCenter and right click and clear? I don't know if restarting the management agents will do anything since the alarms were triggered as vCenter detected something and you'll need to ack the alarm within vCenter.

Alarms are defined in Inventory - Templates & VM view - and applied to "Production Folder". If i go back to produciton folder and right click, there is NO option to clear.
have you tried to disable, then enable the alarm(s) in question.
YES. Still the same
Am I missing here something, will a VC service restart won't help ?
Thanks
