vCenter Server service stop when using webaccess

Does any one know the reason behind this?. Everytime I try login to vCenter webaccess (http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8080/ui), my vCenter Server service suddently stop!. From event viewer, I only discovered vCenter services stop automatically after I try login vCenter via webaccess & I have to start it again manually. BTW, login via webaccess seems failed with error message "no web services running".

vCenter My Setup:

  • 1x vCenter 4.0 running on HP Proliant G6 (4GB ram)

  • OS = Windows Server 2008 32 bit Standard

  • Database = MS SQL 2008

  • Port 80 changed to 8080 due to it's being booked by another service which I couldn't identify.

Thanks

Port 80 is used for all HTTP services. Try to login to https using port 443 or 8443.

Unfortunately, using 443 also seem doesn't work. I will try kill the port 80 services/ process and change back vCenter port from 8080 to default one later by today and see whether I get same result or not.
