The DB is fine?

Have you tried to do a repair of your vCenter Server?

Hi

The DB seems to be ok - can I check this?

How can I do a repair installation? I start the setup wizard or via Add/Remove Programs, the options were only uninstall or change linke mode (which I don't have).

Thanks for your help

Remove the vCenter Server and run a new install and specify the existing ODBC name.

Or (if you can upgrade the vCenter for example from 4.0U1 to 4.0U2) do not remove the program and run the install of the new version.

Hi Andre

I installed vCenter 4.0U2 (Update) but the service stil doesn't start...

Has anybody an idea about the error?

Is it right that if I install vCenter new I'll loose all cluster settings?

Yes, if you create a new database.

No, if you specify the existing database.
