vCenter Server fails to start after changing IP address

I have changed the IP address of my vCenter Server (Windows 2008 64-bit physical machine).  However, after rebooting the machine the vCenter Server service does not start.  How do I resolve this issue?

Which version of vCenter you're running ? Can you attach the vpxd.log ?

We are running vCenter Server v5.1.  I am unable to locate any vpxd.log file on the system.  Where would it be located?  Do I need to turn on some level of debugging for this file to be created?

Anyway, check the folder C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Logs\.

Thank you for pointing me to the location of the logs.  I was able to see the error messages in the vpxd.log file that indicated the problem was that my hostname was not resolving to the new IP address in DNS.  I've since updated DNS with the new IP, and the service started correctly.
