vCenter Server 4.1 not available

Hello,

We have purchased vCenter Server 4 bundle license from Cisco, along with UCS  servers. It was just before v5 was announced. Now, when the equipment arrived, v4 is not available anymore. Were can I download the latest v4?

Welcome to the Community,

which license keys (for which version) did you get and did you already register them in your "My VMware" account?

The latest VMware binaries can be downloaded from http://downloads.vmware.com/d/info/datacenter_cloud_infrastructure/vmware_vsphere/4_1

I have searched the VMware site, but somehow couldn't find that page :slightly_smiling_face: Many thanks.

As a Cisco partner, we will be installing it for our customer. So far, we were registering Cisco contracts under our account. Is that the same with VMware? If we register vSphere, vCenter licenses, should they be registered with our account or end user's account? When the 3y support starts? On the registration day?

I always register the customers licenses under his account. He's the one who paid for the licenses so he's the owner of them.

When the 3y support starts? On the registration day?

AFAIK the SnS starts at the date printed on the license certificate (email)
