vCenter Server 4.0 update 1 on Windows server 2008 R2 32-bit or 64-bit ?

Is vCenter Server 4.0 update 1 supported on Windows Server 2008 32-bit or 64-bit? Dell just certified the use of Win2008R2 on PE1955 blades and i'd like to move my vCenter off a POS PE2650....

I checked the compatibility guide, but vCenter server 4.0 update 1 isnt listed

Dave, Pg16 does not say anything about 64-bit 2008 R2. Unless I'm missing something.

Hi,

How long before vCentre will be supported on Win 2008 R2?

We are planning to role our vSphere soon, ideally I would like to run vCentre on 2008 R2. How long do VMware normally take to support a new OS for vCentre?
