vCenter SQL database connection.

Hello Friends , Need small help

We are trying to move the vCenter SQL 2008 SP3 Database from one machine to another machine on SQL 2008 R2 SP2, but the issue is we do not know the password what is created for SQL , so can we use any new user name and password and then connect.

The procedure will be

1. Will copy the Database from SQL 2008SP3 and then move it to machine where we installed SQL 2008 R2 SP2 .

2. Will restore the same DB on SQL 2008 R2 SP2.

3 When i trying to connect the vCenter DB on New machine , do i need to require the old password through which it was configured on SQL 2008 SP3, or i can create a new user name and password on SQL 2008 R2 SP2 and then user the same.

4. Will Create a NEW DSN , there i need a password so should i know the same password or i can create a new and then user the same.

5. How i will reconnect the my running vCenter to the Database which i moved to new machine and SQL 2008 R2 Sp2.
