vCenter Replication (5.1)

I'm not finding very good documentation around the vReplication features included with vSphere 5.1.  Is the vCenter Web Client required or is there a plugin for the VI client?  I have it setup and working through the web client, but would really prefer the VI client for the time.  Is there a plugin for VI client?

Web Client only.

All new features from now on will be web client only, and the current version of the FAT client is the last version.

Thanks. I knew about the sunset of VI Client. Any other features that are web client only?
