vCenter Alerts tigger type

Hi,

I was trying to configuring custome alerts in vCenter Server for moitoring VMs.

Can someone tell what "tigger type" should i use to minitor VM response?

Trigger type depend on what you want to monitor for the VM. You can choose VM heartbeat for example (require VMware Tools) so that if no heartbeat receive for the VM base on certain condition, a proper action will be taken (send email alert) or, VM "state" if any of the VM state change to power off -> then send you an alert.
