vCenter Alarm Trigger for dvport redundancy degraded

So, I'm trying to setup an alert that will send me an email when I lose an uplink on any one of my ESX hosts.

I created an Alarm at the Virtual Center Level.

For Alarm type I set it to "vNetwork Distributed Switches"

For Triggers I've entered "esx.problem.net.dvport.redundancy.degraded"  I've set Status to Warning.

I don't have any conditions set.

Under actions I have it set to Send a notification email and I've put my email address in.  I've got it se to send once from green to warning and once from warning to alert.

I've unplugged nics from the server that are plugged into that vSwitch.  It never sends me an email.  I do see the event listed, on that Host under tasks & events....  Here's an example of what I see for the event.

Uplink redundancy degraded on DVPorts: "103/0d
6e 38 50 37 6e f0 c7-57 c9 c2 06 f7 41 ea ba",
"1049/0d 6e 38 50 37 6e f0 c7-57 c9 c2 06 f7 41
ea ba". Physical NIC vmnic9 is down.

I'm able to receive emails on other events, so my SMTP settings are correct.
Any ideas?  Am I doing something wrong in the trigger or alarm?

Issue was resolved after I set alarm type to Host instead of dvswitch.
