vCenter Agent not update the esx host

after upgrade the VC to vCenter4, I got a message from vCenter saying the "Connot update the specific host...."

Is anyway I can check the version to make sure it is match with my vCenter and how can I update this please.

You can connect to the host using ssh and run the command as root to get the vpxa version: "rpm -qa |grep vpxa".

I had to reboot my Lab server for same issue, Any insight into this will be helpful.

If you do not have any pressing need to keep the server up, you can try reboot.

try restart services of management.
