vCenter 4.1 Database Corruption?

I have a vCente 4.1 database running SQl 2005 Express and I am randomly seeing issues with the output of the Name field when looking at tasks and alerts. I did some checking and the task error will be whatever operation is running, clone, power off etc. They all complete normally but for logging purposes I want to fix this. I have plans to upgrade to SQL 2008 as the backend DB but I want to resolve this first,

See below for more details. In this case, I clicked on a VM and viewed its tasks and events. As you can see, the reconfiguration task ran successfully but the task name is some internal vim call instead of the Task Name. The next operation that I did on 11/23, the task name was correct

Take a look at http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-13467

Maybe adding "-locale en_US " to the vSphere Client shortcut can help.

Could have more to do with Express than anything else. I am not a fan of fixing something JUST because YOU don't think it "looks" right.. if it works, it works. why waste time making it perfect, and this is a LOG for diagnostics ONLY? The operation completed successful, that to me means it's working fine, regardless of the tag that doesn't appear correct.

Besides if you migrate to SQL 2008, you probably won't see this error anyway....
