Hey all -
I have an external PSC deployed at each site using the same SSO domain. Site 1 was deployed first - created a new SSO domain. Deployed VCSA there, all is well. Site 2 was deployed second with external PSC, joined existing SSO domain specifying the IP of the first PSC. Deployed 2nd VCSA, all is well.
I can log in as SSO admin or AD and see Site 1 and Site 2 from site 2 VCSA. However, at Site 1, I can see the two PSCs and two VCSA in "Nodes" under System Deployment, but I cannot see the vCenters, just the single Site 1 VCSA.
Any pointers?
Hello 5mall5nail5,
Can you check if you can do nslookup for the PSC/VC and resolve the site B successfully?
Can you try login to webclient from site 1 and try to check the webclient logs or share it with me (when you try to login or after login)
log location for webclient : /var/log/vmware/vsphere-client/logs/
vsphere_client_virgo.log is the most latest log.
Thanks,
MS
Thanks - actually, figured it out. Apparently it's a bug - I had to reboot the site 1 VCSA in addition to the PSC. Once I did that, all is good!
I think Linked Mode in general is a bug.
Eh - if you have to manage dozens of vCenters it's very convenient.
