upgrading vcenter server throws error "Could not connect to the database with specified JDBC URL"

Hi Vmware Team,
      I was trying to upgrade Vcenter server having "VMware VirtualCenter 4.1.0 build-491557" but  while upgrading its throws error "Could not connect to the database with specified JDBC URL" Please find the attached screen shot.Any advise or some one throws light on how to resolve thses issues.

PS :- Virtual Vcenter server is a VM
