update , patch

I want to ask a general question. I'm using vcenter 6.5. How do I know when a new update or upgrade, patch is released about the product? How do I know when a new feature comes?  will i check the vmware website every day ? How do you do when you manage a large infrastructure ?

how should i follow ?

thanks.

If youre speaking about your vCenter just login into VAMI https://yourvcenter:5480. If the status is orange you have a problem or a new update is available. Go to ->updates and check if there is something new. You can configure a scheduling.

For the hosts you can schedule a search for new patches and you will get an email if there is something new.

Joerg
