unable to clone a physical machine already configured with windows 2003 in to esx server

I am unable to clone a physical machine already configured with windows 2003 in to esx 3.5.0 Server Using Virtual Center server management using vmware converter enterprise i am getting a error & the error is fail to open the file in esx server . kindly help me in solving this problem

Have you just tried to make a cold clone ?
