specific network traffic

Hi all,

I have a question regarding Virtualcenter and it's "polling for information" from ESX serevrs. I have a large client who is considering implementing a considerable amount of ESX servers, managed from a central location geographically. Tehy have asked for specific network traffic values, as their WAN is not exactly state fo the art (upwards of 300 location, mainly on 256k links). Can anyone give me any specifics? Please note this is traffic between the VC Management server and the ESX servers, not the VC Management Console.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have 6 ESX Servers setup and managed by a Virtual VC Management server.

Our SQL Database is on another host from the VC services and with a console (just perf logging) I am seeing anywhere from a minimum of 164Bytes/sec to upwards of 400Bytes/sec (with a vm poweron).
