about thin disks and Storage DRS. Now I know about PercentIdleMBinSpaceDemand setting MaxRecursionDepth setting and few other things.
But I still have some doubts. To make it all clear I have some questions:
- All storage recomendations in sDRS cluster (based on thin disks) calculate used space (+25%) but not provisioned space?
- Datastore usage on disk alarm check only used space not provisioned space?
- Whenever LUNs based on used space exceeds utilized space parameter then my sDRS cluster run storage vMotion?
- How sDRS choose LUN when I create new VM? With the most free space (parameter free not provisioned)?
- Automation in sDRS only works with LUNs with this sDRS cluster? I mean when I have 2 clusters and in one of them I don't have free space my sDRS cluster can't migrate VM to another cluster?
- How vCloud Director choose LUN based on sDRS cluster?
