I don't control our vcentre servers but I believe there is an issue relating to routing that I would like to find more details on.
I can create a box lets say on VLANA
192.168.0.2 /24
I can also set a default gateway on VLANB
192.168.1.1
this machine can access all machines on its own vlan which I expect is acceptable. But interestingly enough it can also access anything on other network segments connected to VLANB as well
I believe there must be a misconfiguration in some virtual network device, the way I have always understood routing is that it should not be possible to access the gateway as it is on a different segment than the machine itself.
I have read only access to vc and can script against the servers, I also have full access to vco so I can expose any api's relatively easy from there as well.
where can I check the routing config or what api's can I call to confirm this.
