Hello everyone, I'm a newbie of vSphere, I got a case would like to share with you:
I have a virtual server installed "vCenter Server 4.0", it's follow the default configuration ( default database, default setting, default database name...etc).
I found some VMware service unable to bring up automatically after reboot the server ( Please see service.jpg ), but the SQL server 2005 express service already up and running fine. Then I tried to bring up the "virtualcenter server" service manually, but failed again ( Please see error.jpg ).
My solution is bring up the "VMware Update Manager Service" first, then "Virtualcenter server" can be brought up.
I tried twice on my vCenter server, this solution is work for me, maybe is useful for you.
But I don't know why I must bring up "VMware Update Manager Service" first, is there any relationship between them?
