I am having an issue with four vCenters working as if replication is working, but checking System Configuration indicates "No Replication Partner".
The vAPI service on two VCenters of Unknown status also appears to be healthy temporarily, then relegates itself to Healthy with Issues.
Did you select the VCSA and expanded the replication partner. If you expand without selecting the vcenter, it may not work . I remember due to hostname case sensitivity issue, it may not display properly but should be fixed in 6.7 u3 and above.
thanks,
MS
Yes
Hi,
Thanks for the screenshot. Please check that circlebox next to VCSA FQDN on the left handside prior to dropping it to check the replication partner.
thanks,
MS
You are kidding right?
The issue is with the ring from replication topology not appearing correctly, nor are the partners, ever reflected correctly in the GUI.
Here's the screenshot with "the circle selected." As you can see, no change
.
I am not kidding, I am here to help and if you really feel kidding, please contact GSS
thanks,
MS
Anyone come up with an answer? I get the same when I use my VCSA web client - admin - sys config:
But if I ssh into the PSC and check partner status:
root@qpscax00.nns.com (~) > partstat
Partner: qpscax02.nns.com
Host available: Yes
Status available: Yes
My last change number: 1031241
Partner has seen my change number: 1031241
Partner is 0 changes behind.
Partner: QPSCAX01.NNS.COM
Host available: Yes
Status available: Yes
My last change number: 1031241
Partner has seen my change number: 1031241
Partner is 0 changes behind.
root@qpscax00.nns.com (~) >
