We already have several esx servers installed with a single server license. We are planning to install virtual center. Do you need to have other licenses or do can you converrt your single server licenses?
You'll end up with another license activation code for VirtualCenter. But for your existing host based licenses, you can go to the below link and then select to Manage VMware Product Licenses. You can then delete your existing license files and then reissue all of your activation codes as a single (centralized) license file.
