purge vc2.x database

I am looking for a way to purge old data out my vc 2.x (sql 2005) database. I would like to keep a year or two in the db, but as we use the system more, I would like to clean the database up.

I have the schema, but was hoping someone already wrote a script or vmware was working on one that would do this for me and all of people who may be looking for similiar.

The only thing you really need to purge is the stat history and tasks and events.
