permissions on VM

Hi have a few VM's i need to give permissions to the user  so that he can access through vsphere  client.

i need to give few on VM level, few on Datastore level , one on network level, one on resource level, one to create tasks.

What role should i assign to this user?

Please create a role with the privileges required and assign it to the user.

You can find VMware docs on creating roles and assigning privileges.

you got to create Role (custom role) as per your need.

assigning permission is possible at every object level in vCenter server inventory, same is true for standalone esxi host.
