performance data missing in VC

Hello

Recently i have face some issue in database, due to that  my performance data is missing now, I can see all old events but not with performance data, when i look into the VPX_HIST_STAT1, VPX_HIST_STAT2, VPX_HIST_STAT3, VPX_HIST_STAT4, there are morethan 40000 records on each table, now i want to get the report in VC, anyone is have any idea appericated, I am really weak in SQL

VC version 4.0

some article says that purging old data will solve the issue, but i am afraid, will this definate solve the issue, i am getting following error in vpxa

rebuilding index may solve it, but i have to try, will let you know th result, mean time if anyone has fixed this same type of issue please welcome their comment
