I use "C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\VpxClient.exe" -passthroughauth -s my VC's Ip address
"C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\VpxClient.exe" -s -passthroughAuth
Not sure if the order makes a difference. Also your VC must be on the domain, and of course your ID should be a member of Administrators group or some group with access to that machine, and the rights on VIC need to be set for you to access the cluster / VC with appropriate rights. The machine you are connecting from ALSO must be on the domain and you have to be logged on AS the domain user you want to connect with.
Then if all that is in place, you should be good.
