no vmnics after update

Hi,

after the update from esx4.1 to 5 and vm migation I get no eth devices at the vm. Ubunto said no devices. In the vmx file are two configured. The MAC adresses are OK. The windows vms are OK.

ifconfig eth0

eth0: error fetching interface information: Device not found

Check with:

ifconfig eth1

If the eth has just been renamed, modify the /etc/udev/rules.d/*network* file to remove all entries and reboot the VM.

Thank you very much, that was the right answer. After cleaning the file and a reboot all nics are back.
