java_pidXXXXX.hprof files - can they be deleted?

I have a number of large files, e.g. C:\ProgramData\VMware\Infrastructure\Profile-Driven Storage\Logs\java_pid12345.hprof on my vCenter server.

Can they be safely be deleted?

I can only find the following article which doesn't relate to vCenter.

What is the pidXXXXXX.hprof file used for? (0000669) | VMware KB
