iSCSI mappings not persistent thru reboots

has anyone had issues with iSCSI not mapping the LUNs after a reboot only when the ESX boxes are in a HA-DRS cluster? Standalone ESX hosts are fine. Add them to a cluster, though, and we have to rescan the iSCSI adapter after a boot. Consistently reproducible.

VC is 2.02, ESX is 3.02, array is EqualLogic PS300e with firmware v.3.1.2?

i believe there are some threads on the ESX software initiator losing LUNS on reboot, but not the HBA's

what are you using for the initiator ?

i also am using the ESX swiscsi hba, no hardware.

i've also encountered another issue where even rescanning didn't work. In that case, i had to disable the swiscsi service, kill it, then re-enable. Then a rescan worked. Strange stuff...
