I'm facing a question, I've within my VC server hosts that aren't part of an HA cluster. they are all VMotion capable. I lost one of my hosts. I see the VMs that were belonging to it in a disconnected state. if I browse the datastore where they are located from another host and I try to add them to the inventory I receive the logical error that another VM with the same ID is already in the inventory.
what are my choices here except removing the disconnected host from the inventory and them beeing able to add the VMs from another host?
