i fixed the horizon error.

my cause is that horizon had old pae- VCSslCertThumbprint code.

so i used ADSI edit in horizon connection server.

[adsi edit] -> [DC=vdi,dc=vmware,dc=int] -> OU=Properties -> OU=VirtualCenter - > CN=FF~~~

CN=FF~~~ (MOUSE RIGHT CLICK) -> Properties

i got value about

1. pae-NameValuePair

2. pae-VcURL

3. pae-VCSslCertThumbprintAlgorithm

4. pae-VCSslCertThumbprint

i wrote the all value in wordpad.

and changed pae- VCURL 's value : http://192.168.1.193:443/sdk -> http://offfvcenter:443/sdk

changed pae-NameValuePair  : UNIQUEID=22 ->  UNIQUEID=23

in  horizon connection server vm

webpage -> view configuration -> server -> vcenter server -> registered 192.168.1.193:443 vcenter server simply

get back horizon conection server vm's ADSI edit

get the value of new vcenter value.

1. pae-VCSslCertThumbprint

and get back horizon webpage.

remove the new vcenter. not offvcenter(old vcenter).

get back horizon conection server vm's ADSI edit

update value of pae-VcURL in old vcenter cn=ff~~~~

http://offfvcenter:443/sdk  ->> http://192.168.1.193:443/sdk

update value of  pae-NameValuePair

UNIQUEID =23  ->  UNIQUEID =22

update value of pae-VCSslCertThumbprint by new vcenter's  pae-VCSslCertThumbprint

and press [refresh] button in horizon web page.

all system is green!

I hope it helps someone.

Hey RWEQRWQ,

You started that post saying that you selected option "8" when using Certificate Manager, this also reset the Machine SSL that is used for the connectivity between vCenter and Horizon. For make it work again you need to go inside Horizon, edit the vCenter Server, put the credentials again and accept the new certificate.

After that everything should work as expected.

Why cannot edit? Could you show us what is appearing on your console?

Because as you changed the vCenter certificate that should be the issue.

Oh okay i got it now you are editing but the clock freezes because it cannot finish. Could you try to wait for an error to see what is happening? While you wait you can also browse the logs of the Connection Server you are connected to. This is the location of the logs: DriveLetter:ProgramData\VMware\VDM\logs

And of course you can try to restart the connection servers maybe that fixes the issue.
