global autostart configuration

hello.

is it possible to configure through vcenter a global configuration for starting up the vm's ? at the moment i configure this for each host/vm seperately...

Have you looked at vApps? If you aren't familiar with them, they allow you to group like or related vms together and control their start-up and shutdown sequence. These can be used within a cluster (across hosts).

If this isn't what you are looking for could you elaborate more?
