difference between esxtop and vcenter GUI perfomance monitor

can any one kindly explain me what is the different between esxtop and Vcenter perfomance monitering ? is there any addtional metric are there in esx top command line utlity.
You can get a bit more detail in esxtop (process level per VM etc) and its a bit faster to work with switching between counters. If you want a quick snapshot view esxtop is good, if you want trends vcenter graphs are nice. Some good esxtop info: http://www.yellow-bricks.com/esxtop/
