created new vswif0/ip. old range still showing in client

3.02 hosts and 2.0.2 VC

Migrated bladecenter to a new data center. Deleted and created new vswif0. Edited etc/hosts and etc/sysconfig/network. Bounced servers etc.. Connectivity seems ok. Not getting any real problems but from the vi client to the host or using VC if you look at the network properties, where you can bind vmnic's etc.. it still shows the IP range from the old subnet. Again, no problems so far but obviously I would like to avoid any and I am not coming up with anything googling this "problem" Any thoughts or fixes are appreciated. Thanks.

an extra bounce of the server took care of it. strange because they had been bounced already but that took care of it

That IP range doesn't mean anything, it automatically discovers the subnet, that's all it means. It doesn't restrict or change anything with the network, it's there to idenfity which network you connected it to, to make it easier to configure the network, but it's asthetics, it's not infrastructure.
