cpu alert is not clearing in vSphere for a guest

    I have a linux guest, sles 8 that is not clearing cpu alerts when the cpu is not busy?

    has anyone seen this before and anyone have any ideas?

    Using vSphere and the esx host it is on is esx 3.5.0 build 153875
