I have a virtual machine that a customer has asked me to clone for him. It is currently snaped but he wants a clone of the virtual machine before the snap. Any advice on the best way to do this?
Clone the parent .vmdk using vmfstools and attach it to a new VM with identical vHW specs..The clone will be crash consistent though..
