can microsoft systems centre essentials monitor VMware Vms

Hi, i have been looking at the microsoft website for information on support for microsoft systems centre essentials. The documentation does not list Vmware VMs under the supported or unsupported list. Does anyone know if this product version 2007 or 2010 is supported for monitoring of VMware?

Hi,

You can monitoring your VMs in the same way that a physical server, so System Center of course can monitor your VMs.

Also, you can use the VMware Management Pack for System Center Operation Manager, so you can monitor the entire VMware infrastructure. Check out this link:
