call "HostNetworkSystem.UpdateNetworkConfig" for object "networksystem"

I have recently build 2 of the  ESX 4.1 servers and joined in my new vShere farm. Part of the post build jobs, I am trying to create port groups on one of the ESX server which is returning me an error -

A specified parameter was not correct "call "HostNetworkSystem.UpdateNetworkConfig" for object "networksystem" on ESX "Server001" failed.

Based on the search results, I have checked that there is more than 90% of free space on the ESX volumes. Any thoughts, please share with me.
