HI, someone can help me to clarify doubt i have. I need to know the best practice on how to manage 2 sites with the same vcenter
for example in the 1st site i have the VLAN 782
on the 2nd i have the VLAN 783
What is the best option for vcenter to see both sites? i hope you can help me or advice me a little bit
Hi dear,
There is no need to extend any VLAN, the ESXi hosts in site 1 and site 2 can be in different VLANs and can be managed by the same vCenter. You just need to have routing between the management VLAN the your vCenter is in and the subnets of all ESXi hosts in both sites.
Another way to do so if you want, you can have one vCenter per site and have these vCenters joined to the same SSO domain (Enhanced linked mode). This way you will see both vCenters from a single pane of glass when you login to the vSphere client from either vCenter server.

Thanks for the answer MohamadAlhoussein
I have another question sorry i ask that much. The question is the following. If i add both vCenter in the same SSO domain.
What would the communication be like if I create the PSC on site A and then create the first vCenter on this site, and the second vCenter on site B, how the vCenter of site B would communicate with the PSC of site A?
Should the PSC be in a VLAN that is extended or route both VLANs of the vCenter at site A and B?
You welcome dear,
If you are deploying VCSA 6.7 then there is no need to deploy an external PSC controller. It is supported to have vCenter with embedded psc in site 1 and embedded vCenter with embedded PSC in site 2 and still have them joined to the same sso domain for the enhanced linked mode.
There is no need to extend VLANs, you only need connectivity between vCenter-site1 and vCenter-site2 which can be achieved by routing between the 2 different VLANs.
thanks once again for you help!!
