[ask] Move all esx include vms from one cluster to another

Dear Vm's Expert

i'm newbie and I have a problem with VI 2.0.2 and esx 3.0.1

my existing configuration is

On my Vi Virtual Center has :

CLuster 1 = esx1,esx2,esx3

Cluster 2 = esx4,esx5,esx6,esx 7

now i have to move esx4 and 5 with vms inside to cluster 1, Is it Possible ?

or what about if i create one more cluster Cluster 3 = esx6,esx7 (is it possible to do like this also)

and what the critical point if i wopuld like to do it.

Thanks Before

Azis

I am afriad this might not work. The reason is the incompatible of the CPU from each of the host. EVC on ESX 3.5 update 2 will able to resolve this issue. You should try to run some real test if possible.

it depends on your specific cpu type, try to find out if they are VMotion compatible with eachother, if so than it's no problem at all.
