after changing ip and hostname virtual center fail to start

Hello,

a client has changed the ip and hostname of the server who has installed virtual center and license server. After the change, virtual center fail to start.

What i must to do to start Virtual Center?

I think that i must to uninstall and install again the virtual center and configure a system dns pointing to the old database, is correct?

That should be one way to fix - and just rememebr when you get the warning that data exists in the datastore and are asked to reintitialize it say no -

If you want to troubleshoot why its not starting we can help. Or as mentioned above if you are happy to do a reinstall that will also solve it pretty quickly.
