Why the virtual center management Server is changed to name: Vcenter? does they have some special ?
Hi,
The name change is part of a lot of name changes in vmware's products. A lot of things is called Vwhatever now
Best regards

The marketing people are bored or there are new marketing people who have to show they are there...
Hi,
I think it is all very unclear. So VMware unifies the names by having them all start with a "v"... Where haveI seen that before... Vizioncores esxRanger was renamed to "vRanger" (I think they were forced to because of the ESX part in the old name). So now we don't have VirtualCenter anymore, but vCenter. But wait! Vizioncore has vRanger, vReplicator... So is VMware now going to ask politely to change the Vizioncore names back again?
And VMware has renamed VDI to view now. Sigh... It is not making things clear in my opinion.
OW announced on the last VMworld.... Vizioncore is introducing "vControl" which is kind of like a vCenter... Sigh2

VMware have not renamed VDI to View, VDI is a concept or paradigm, VDM was the product.
