Why my VC max out in cpu every 30 minutes. "sqlservr.exe" is the culprit

Every 30minutes "sqlservr.exe" running on my VC is maxing out my host cpu usage and freeze my VC interface. What is "sqlservr.exe" doing every 30 minutes to cause this.

Is there something I can do to prevent this?

Thank you in advance.

The is the SQL Service. I asssume you have your DB installed on the same host as your vCenter Server? You may consider moving your DB to another server. Is your vCenter server physical or a VM?

you may want to take a look at this .pdf if you haven't seen it . It has a sizing and configuration best practice

My advise though, if possible, is to move your DB to another server.

hope this helps!
